Witness Appeal

Police are appealing for a witness of a serious assault on a 16 year old boy.

At around 19:20hrs on Wednesday 8 October, the boy was attacked by a group of 5 boys close to a bus stop on Fencepiece Road, Hainault, Ilford IG16.  A member of the public out jogging, intervened and escorted the boy home.  He was later treated at hospital where his injuries were confirmed as not life changing or life threatening.

At this time no arrests have been made.

We are appealing directly to the man who intervened to come forward and help us with our enquiries.
